Workspend is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) providing innovative and customized contingent workforce solutions to clients across the United States. Our clients include corporations across a variety of industries, including healthcare, insurance, finance, biopharmaceutical, consumer goods, retail, and manufacturing. The Onsite Program Coordinator will be the single point of accountability to our Watertown client, serving as the interface between hiring managers and the staffing supplier base.


Position Overview:

The Onsite Program Coordinator will oversee the contingent labor program at one client. The position will be based at our client s location in Watertown, MA. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders seeking to bring aboard contingent workers to fill temporary assignments. Establish and understand key requirements and position parameters.
  • Educate hiring managers on use of the Vendor Management System (VMS) as well as the MSP process.
  • Screen resumes based on fitness for the position and alignment with the established maximum bill rate, and select the most qualified candidates to present to the client.
  • Partnered with client and Workspend leadership, advance the change management process during the program implementation by explaining processes and program benefits to key stakeholders.
  • Provide ongoing support to client stakeholders through the full lifecycle of contingent labor management, from the recruitment phase through on-boarding and assignment monitoring, to off-boarding.
  • Act as primary point of contact to the staffing supplier base. Create effective channels of communication to ensure that suppliers are given the best possible opportunity to successfully fill openings with qualified candidates.
  • Ensure that suppliers receive timely feedback from client on submitted candidates and completed interviews.
  • Hold suppliers accountable to the terms of the supplier agreement. Such terms include pre-assignment background checks, on-boarding processes, and program rules of engagement.
  • Maintain data integrity in the VMS.
  • Perform special assignments/complete projects as needed.

Qualifications & Required Skills

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:

Desired Qualifications (one or more of the following is preferable)

  • 1-2 years staffing industry experience (highly desired)
  • 1-2 years experience in customer account management
  • 2+ years sales experience, recruiting, marketing or other customer relation positions
  • Bachelor s Degree in comparable field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

  • MS Office at intermediate level with advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint preferred
