JOB SUMMARY
As a leader of strategic and cross-platform content initiatives designed to drive the Charter video business forward, this role owns a broad portfolio of responsibilities. Manages the team that supports strategic product storytelling through data, competitive analysis, product deep dives and vision. Develops and defines business requirements , partners cross-functionally with development and integration teams, manages/champions video roadmap, and spearheads content-based enhancements for video and prospective video subscribers. Drives cross functional collaboration with Content Providers, Advanced Engineering, Next Gen Video, third party vendors, Programming, Corporate Marketing, Network Operations, Customer Operations and Finance. Leads Content strategy for aggregation, discovery, and experimentation programs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Uses deep understanding of content and video product landscape to develop data-driven content strategies that benefit Spectrum subscribers and the business
Translates strategy into requirements, documents, and plans that speak to technical, marketing, programming, and leadership teams
Determines and monitors key performance customer experience indicators for the video product portfolio.
Performs extensive competitive, peer and market analysis.
Leads the team that aggregates data and crafts precise and compelling presentation materials for on-going Video Team efforts for senior executive and leadership audiences
Creates and contributes to a workplace culture that prioritizes psychological safety and diversity of thought, background, style
Manages product lifecycle and roadmap for digital video product with a keen focus on the interactive program guide and customer experience.
Defines and manages development and implementation of product and marketing requirements for the next generation of the video product feature set on next generation as well as legacy equipment.
Leads and works with a cross functional team through the development, implementation and launch of new products and features.
Establishes credibility with suppliers and third party vendors to direct strategy and implementation, while driving deliverable timelines.
Possesses and continues to hone knowledge base via key points of integration, including program guide releases, firmware upgrades, Motorola and Cisco operating systems, and native vs. cloud-based solutions for multiple equipment options/devices.
Works on the integration of classic video products with web, mobile, high speed internet and phone.
Drives customer-facing product enhancements that generate increased engagement, revenue growth and market penetration for the video product.
Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Strong knowledge of and experience with legacy video platforms, including IPG, CPE, VOD and EBIF
Strong knowledge of broadband services, technology, and marketing
Strong knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
Ability to use personal computer and software applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheet, etc.)
Ability to manage a team

Education
BS/BA in business, engineering, or computer science
MBA is preferred

Related Work Experience
7 years experience in product management and product development or engineering
High level of experience working in the cable industry managing commercially launched products
