We are looking for an Associate Director, IP - Strategic Account Management to work in the NY, NY office and to be responsible for helping to strategically solidify and expand some of our largest existing customer relationships and improve overall customer satisfaction. This client-facing position will be devoted to strategic relationship building with key decision makers and users across large organizations to ensure customer retention and relationship stability.

Essential Functions:

Cultivates strong relationships within client organizations at the decision-maker and user levels

Manages large, complex and global client partnerships

Develops and deploy client treatment strategies and account plans to enhance position with existing clients

Conducts regular business reviews with value add propositions and strategic consultation to enhance client experience

Identifies new business and growth opportunities for existing accounts

Manages and control pricing and contractual issues

Initiates continuous improvement of procedures, processes and standards to ensure smooth client operations and increased efficiency

Leads on-site client visits and annual reviews

May also manage direct report(s) depending on location and overall SAM team size

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor s Degree

Fluent English (written and verbal skills)

Minimum 3 years of account management or sales experience

Significant, localization and / or intellectual property (IP) and patent knowledge or familiarity a prerequisite

Language industry knowledge a plus; especially with an operational, business development, or relationship management background

Excellent presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills

Effective time management skills and attention to detail Foreign language fluency a plus
