Position Description:

The Key Account Brand Strategy Director is responsible for facilitating the strategic planning process for U.S. based partner organizations and conducting regular ongoing assessments of tactics executed with partner organizations. In addition, this person ensures strategic planning and flawless execution of EASE marketing strategy and tactics in coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners and customers.

Position Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate the strategic planning process for engagement with key external partner organizations (e.g. Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), Pathways, Veterans Administration, State Oncology Societies, etc.) in collaboration with Market Access, Key Customer Team (KCT) and other internal stakeholders.
Assess opportunities for commercial engagement with key external organizations and determine strategic approach and corresponding tactical prioritization in line with overarching brand strategy
In collaboration with the Market Access team, evaluate the health of the business across key customer segments and partnerships to identify growth opportunities for Exelixis promoted products on an ongoing basis.
Lead the ongoing strategic planning process and marketing execution of EASE and Access programs
Successfully manage agencies for EASE and Access projects, as well manage external stakeholder relationships
Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Finance to ensure proper policies and procedures are followed for various projects
Successfully manage the creation of the content for various projects and oversee review and approval process by review committee (RAMP)
Liaise with the Market Access, Promotions, KCT, and Sales Training teams to ensure partnership strategies, tactics, and capabilities are effectively implemented through personal and non-personal approaches.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
No direct supervisory responsibilities at this time.
May indirectly supervise employees through a dotted line structure or via other subordinate supervisors.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Education:
Master's degree in related discipline and 8 years of related experience; or
BS/BA degree in related discipline and 10 years of related experience; or
Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience:
Previous experience in Sales, Market Access, and Marketing preferred.
Oncology experience is required.

Commercial experience with Access or Managed Care Marketing (preferred).
Understanding of FDA regulations of pharmaceutical drug promotions and experience with design and implementation of adult learning programs.
Business travel is required.
