This position is responsible for the overall design, management and execution of the Business Development Department in the Home Health and Hospice division of the Company. This position will be responsible for developing and promoting a strategic sales and marketing plan that will achieve or exceed budgeted census goals in the assigned area.

Essential Functions:
Serve as the key member of the regional team to develop, manage, and implement sales and marketing strategies for the Home and Community based Division
Maintain the established census goals by influencing and developing the Business Development team
Spearhead business development initiatives that advance the divisions' market share and growth strategies
Develop strategic relationships with all referral sources with focus on acute care settings and physician practices
Understand the demographic analysis of the existing and future markets to maximize business development approach
Assist in the evaluation of all collateral materials including print, media and on-line advertising to be current and to meet market and technological standards
Develop advertising campaigns, public relations opportunities and other marketing plans to build new business relationships
Partner with agency leaders in recruiting and hiring talent responsible for local census development
Take lead in the on-boarding of all new sales staff
Collaborator with the agency leaders to conduct on-going training, coaching, and development of sales team
Assist in the class-room and field sales training for all sales staff
Monitor the utilization of RLS system and compile data to impact positive conversion ratios
Assist agency leaders and the sales team to develop a successful community outreach program that will support business development strategies



Qualifications:

Some college education in a Marketing related field
Minimum of three years experience as Sales leader in Home Healthcare and Hospice Services
Minimum of five years experience in implementing successful business development strategies in various types of markets
Thorough understanding of the Home Healthcare and Hospice Markets and referral sources including acute care markets
History of successful sales training of business development staff
Proven history of achieving or exceeding census goals
Ability to identify market needs and trends
Experience in developing new market presence and relationships
Ability to work collaboratively with seniors and agency leaders to achieve common goals
Excellent communication and organization skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
